Rent Our Camps

Here at Girl Scouts, we are huge advocates of spending time outside—and going to camp is a perfect way to interact with nature. Whether they’re swimming in Swartswood Lake for the first time at Camp Hoover, discovering the fun of the zipline at Camp DeWitt, or being a citizen scientist and brooking at The OVAL, every outdoor adventure grows a Girl Scout’s “I’ve got this” attitude. And once they unlock that confidence, they’ll aim as high as the stars they see outside their tent.
Outdoor adventures don’t stop on the last day of summer camp, there is no shortage of things to do the whole year through! Find out more about how your troop or group can schedule a stay at a GSHNJ camp property.
Our camps are beautiful and full of activities and accommodations for all sorts of events: Girl Scout troop activities, family gatherings, service unit camporees, corporate outings, rustic weddings, day trips and more are waiting for you. Camp Lou Henry Hoover has been helping girls learn and grow since 1953. Located in Middleville, NJ with access to Swartswood Lake, Camp Hoover operates as a residential camp that provides general and specialty camp programs. General camp programs enable campers to experience a little bit of everything, including waterfront time, ropes course, cooking out, crafts, archery, and more! Specialty camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like swimming, boating, hiking, cook-outs, crafts, and games. Camp Hoover is a journey into independence — a place where camper and counselor plan weekly adventures together in an environment that is relaxed, tech-free, non-competitive, and fun.
