1. Set a Goal! Setting goals
is a great way to get started in the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Your goals may be to earn enough money for a Take Action project or a fun trip, to sell more than you did last year, or to earn your favorite rewards. Setting goals is a great activity to do as a troop, too. Not sure how to go about setting goals? Earn your Girl Scout Cookie Entrepreneur Family Pin, or check out the Cookie Business badges for your level.
2. Make a plan! How will you connect with your customers? Think about different ways to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie program: in-person, door-to-door, online, and more. The initial order period runs January 2-27. After that, make a plan to connect with customers via cookie booths, walk-abouts, and online.
3. Stay safe! Make sure your caregiver submits the permission form they received from your troop leader. And together, review Product Program safety, take the Girl Scout Internet Safety Pledge and Digital Cookie Pledge, and review our Social Media Guidelines.
4. Open your storefront! Use this resource to set up your Digital Cookie Online Shop and start sending emails to your customers on January 3. Remember to contact local customers first and wait to contact long-distance customers until the direct ship option opens on February 27.
