Have something that inspires you? Want to talk about how you are making the world a better place? Submissions are open for this year's SPARK TALKS speakers; a series of 4-5 "TED-style" talks by GSHNJ Teens included as part of our You Lead: Teen Leadership Summit on Feb. 7th at Montclair State University. Whether you've attended You Lead as part of one our past cohorts or are attending in 2026 for the first time, you are invited to submit a proposal for consideration. Proposals should include a short written description of your proposed talk idea(s) and a short 1-2 minute video discussing the topic you have chosen. Additional details and deadlines are below:
- Proposals will be accepted through Sunday, November 30th after which they will be reviewed by our Teen Leadership Advisory Board.
- All accepted speakers will be notified by December 15th and will then have until January 5th to submit a full written draft that will form the basis of an individualized coaching session to polish their talk into a final presentation.
