For more than a century, the Girl Scout Cookie Program — the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world — has helped young people build confidence, develop business skills, and discover what’s possible when they set goals and work hard to achieve them.
During the 2026 Cookie Program season, Girl Scouts across Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey strengthened skills in entrepreneurship, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork while selling over 1 million packages of Girl Scout Cookies, including 82,296 packages purchased for donation through Operation Jersey Cares, which provides cookies to military members, first responders, and local community organizations.
This year, we are proud to recognize GSHNJ’s Top Girl Scout Cookie Sellers for the 2026 season. Through creativity, perseverance, and determination, these Girl Scouts not only reached incredible sales milestones, but also helped fund troop travel, community service projects, outdoor adventures, leadership experiences, and opportunities that will create memories for years to come.
Union Ambassador Girl Scout Jalah sold 3,196 boxes. One of her favorite parts of the season was reconnecting with familiar customers and seeing the excitement people have each year for Girl Scout Cookies. Through the Cookie Program, Jalah strengthened her communication skills while helping fund an upcoming two-week trip to Europe this summer.
South Plainfield Ambassador Girl Scout Candor sold 2,247 boxes. Candor shared that one of the skills they strengthened this year was writing personalized thank-you notes for customers, while one of the highlights of the season was delivering cookies at a New York Sirens game. Cookie proceeds will help support Candor’s upcoming Gold Award project, which they are excited to begin focusing on next.
Hoboken Junior Girl Scout Wxy sold more than 1,900 boxes. Wxy enjoyed meeting new customers and helping raise funds for troop projects, while also assisting with organizing cookies during the excitement of Mega Drop. Thanks to cookie earnings, the troop helped replace seven refrigerators at Camp Hoover and is looking forward to attending Beach Jam in Wildwood.
Plainfield Junior Girl Scout Carlie sold 1,434 boxes. Booth sales were Carlie’s favorite part of the Cookie Program, and she shared that the experience helped strengthen her leadership skills throughout the season. Cookie earnings are helping fund a trip to Washington, D.C. this summer.
Warren Brownie Girl Scout Adeline sold 1,349 boxes. Adeline enjoyed working alongside her troop at cookie booths, where she strengthened her confidence while practicing sales and money-handling skills. Cookie earnings will support membership dues, badge activities, community beautification projects, camping experiences, and new adventures in the year ahead.
Delaware Township Girl Scout Violet sold 1,326 boxes. Violet shared that one of her favorite parts of the season was going door-to-door in her neighborhood, reconnecting with longtime customers, and building confidence speaking with customers independently while recommending cookie varieties, including gluten-free and vegan options. Cookie earnings will support camping adventures and help fund an upcoming Bronze Award project focused on making a difference in the community.
South Orange Girl Scout Mora surpassed her 2026 Cookie Program goal by selling more than 1,221 boxes. A Junior at Banyan High School in Little Falls, Mora balanced cookie sales alongside school activities, community service, and advocacy for visually impaired individuals. This season, Mora was invited to speak at a local Brownie troop kickoff event, where she shared cookie-selling tips and taught the girls an original cheer to help build excitement and confidence for the season ahead. Mora also continued her tradition of giving back by working with customers to donate a record 181 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to Toni’s Kitchen in Montclair, where she has become affectionately known as the “Girl Scout Cookie gal.”
Fairfield Junior Girl Scout Tessa sold 1,200 boxes, including more than 800 boxes donated through Operation Jersey Cares. Tessa shared that booth sales with her friends were her favorite part of the season, where she strengthened her money-handling and customer service skills while helping explain cookie varieties and manage sales. Cookie earnings will support educational trips, service projects, and donations throughout the year.
Delaware Township Junior Girl Scout Anna sold 1,079 boxes. Anna shared that one of the biggest skills she developed this year was confidence in talking with customers and learning how to upsell at cookie booths. One of her favorite sales strategies was encouraging customers buying Thin Mints and Peanut Butter Patties to add a box of Adventurefuls so the three cookie packages together resembled the colors of the Italian flag, a fun idea that often convinced customers to purchase an extra box. Cookie earnings are helping fund the troop’s annual trip to Camp Canadensis, bridging celebrations, and more camping adventures together.
Maplewood Daisy Girl Scout Ariel surpassed her goal of selling 1,001 boxes by selling 1,050 boxes. Ariel shared that one of her favorite moments this season was participating in an interview at the Girl Scout Leadership Center in Newark alongside her best friends, while also growing her kindness and confidence throughout the program. The troop is looking forward to attending Camporee and other events next year, while Ariel is especially excited to bridge to Brownies next month.
