Samira Sharif Joins the GSHNJ Board of Directors
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) proudly announces the appointment of Samira Sharif to its Board of Directors. Samira currently serves as the Vice President of U.S. Networks Distribution at Paramount Global, where she leads negotiations with major Pay-TV and OTT distributors, including Comcast, YouTube, and Verizon. She oversees content distribution for Paramount’s extensive portfolio of broadcast, cable, and premium networks, along with direct-to-consumer apps.
With over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and content distribution, Samira brings deep expertise in negotiating complex agreements and driving strategic partnerships. Before her role at Paramount, Samira was Director of TV Networks Distribution at CBS, where she managed agreements with some of the largest distributors in the industry. Her leadership and ability to drive new revenue streams make her an invaluable addition to the GSHNJ Board.
Samira holds a B.S. in Communication from NYU and is a graduate of prestigious leadership programs, including NAMIC’s ELDP Program and WICT’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. Outside of her professional achievements, she is an avid runner and enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters, Nia and Laila.
