Providence, RI (February 10, 2022)—Club Adventures, AAA’s small group adventure tour operator, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA to bring unique travel opportunities to Girl Scout alums and supporters nationwide.

In keeping with the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place, this unique portfolio of trips will offer Girl Scout alums the chance to discover authentic experiences and unlock cultural connections around the world, while traveling with a community of fellow alums and supporters.

Club Adventures has developed a lineup of customized, multi-day itineraries exclusive to Girl Scouts, in destinations such as the Galápagos Islands, Italy, and Morocco. Additionally, immersive trips to the birthplace of Girl Scouts’ founder, Juliette Gordon Low, in Savannah, GA, and international Girl Scout locations, like Switzerland’s Our Chalet, are also available for sale. These small group trips kick off Fall 2022 and have a maximum group size of 16 travelers. They celebrate connection with local women through inspired experiences and local tour leaders.

“Girl Scouts and Club Adventures have a shared belief that travel empowers us all to be better global citizens,” said Club Adventures Managing Director, Allison Villasenor. “We are extremely excited for this partnership, about what it means for Girl Scout alums, and the opportunity to celebrate authentic connections and discovery around the globe.”

“For decades, Girl Scouts has offered girls their first opportunity to explore new destinations,” said Girl Scouts’ Vice President of Alum and Lifetime Membership, Julie Sygiel. “Now, we’re excited to partner with Club Adventures to provide alums the opportunity to continue their relationship with the organization and cultivate new connections in exciting new settings through travel.”

AAA’s long-standing position as a leader in the travel industry and 100 plus years’ experience of trip planning for Americans makes this partnership between Club Adventures and Girl Scouts a natural next step in unlocking the power of adventure travel. Whether it’s a milestone birthday celebration, adventures with close friends, or a long-awaited troop reunion, these itineraries are the perfect way to connect.

We Are Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
