How Do I Get Started?
Step 1: Complete the Gold Award Tutorial + post-video survey
Set yourself up for success by completing our Gold Award tutorial in gsLearn. Girl Scouts ages 13+ can request access to gsLearn by filling out this request form. Once received, our team will set up your account and provide you with your login credentials.
You can complete the tutorial in one sitting or stop and go as you wish. You can revisit sections at any time you need in gsLearn.
Gold Award candidates must complete the Gold Award tutorial within one year of submitting their project proposal. Please don't forget to complete this mandatory post-video survey.
Step 2: Start Brainstorming and join us for a Think Tank session
Need some more brainstorming help? Join us for an optional Think Tank session where you get helpful feedback and share ideas with other Gold Award candidates or request an a la carte workshop.
Step 3: Create your GoGold Online account
All Gold Award Project Proposals and Final Reports must be submitted through GoGold Online. Girl Scouts must create their own account and complete all steps (including Steps 1 and 2) in GoGold.
Step 4: Plan ahead and note the deadline to earn the Gold Award
The deadline to earn your Gold Award is September 30th of the year you graduate high school. For example, if you graduate in June 2023, your final report must be submitted and approved no later than September 30, 2023.
