During this virtual coaching session, we will help you move forward
in planning your Silver Award Take Action Project by sorting out your
thoughts, generating ideas, choosing issues to explore, and more. We
will begin with an overview of common obstacles and then devote the
remaining times for the girls to share what they are thinking and
working on. Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring an adult along.
Pre-requisites: Girl Scouts should have already completed the
Silver Award Tutorial prior to attending one of our Silver Award Think
Tanks (see Step 1 on our Silver Award Info Page for info on how to
access that mandatory tutorial. Our Silver Award Info Page also
contains the critical handbooks for candidates and their
adults/leaders/project advisors). Girl Scouts should also have already
completed their Girl Scout Journey step and begun exploring issues of
interest.
Adults are encouraged to attend with their Girl
Scouts.
