Celebrate yourself, build confidence, and discover the power of movement!
Join us for Second Saturday: My Body, My Story, My Namaste, an empowering and interactive experience designed to help Girl Scouts build a healthier relationship with themselves, both inside and out!
Led by Anthony Perdue, a yogi from Magical Mind Studio, in partnership with Phaedra Dunn, a family therapist based in North New Jersey, this dynamic program invites Girl Scouts in levels Junior through Ambassador to explore body image, self-esteem, and the power of finding their inner confidence.
Throughout this engaging two-and-a-half-hour session, Girl Scouts will discover the difference between body image and self-esteem, reflect on their own thoughts and feelings through guided journal prompts, and take a closer look at how social media can shape the way we see ourselves. Through meaningful conversations and hands-on activities, participants will explore the connection between mind and body while building tools to practice self-acceptance, challenge unrealistic expectations, and celebrate what makes each of them uniquely amazing.
We'll wrap up with gentle yoga and mindful movement, giving Girl Scouts an opportunity to connect with their bodies, find their balance, and leave feeling grounded, empowered, and confident in their own stories.
💚 Parents and caregivers are welcome to participate alongside their Girl Scout! This is a wonderful opportunity to share in the experience, spark meaningful conversations, and strengthen connections. Please also register if you plan to participate.
Girl Scouts will earn the badge corresponding to their level:
