Join us for Second Saturday: STEM into the Summer on June 20th from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Girl Scout Leadership Center in Newark! This exciting, hands-on program is perfect for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors who are ready to explore the world of STEM in a fun and engaging way.
Together, we'll dive into interactive science experiments that you can easily recreate with your troop all summer long. Along the way, we'll talk about the importance of STEM and why Girl Scouts should feel confident and empowered to explore their interests-whether it's trying something new, solving problems, or even considering a future career in science, technology, engineering, or math.
Girl Scouts will participate in a variety of activities and discussions designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show that STEM is for everyone. Plus, each participant will receive a take-home lab kit, courtesy of Regeneron, featuring three exciting experiments they can complete with the help of an adult.
Come ready to experiment, discover, and be inspired-your STEM adventure starts here!
All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this program or event by their Troop Leaders or by a guardian, but those adults do not need to register for this program.
