BYTE BACK and take control of your online identity! This program will leave Girl Scouts and parents equipped with the tools and knowledge to combat virtual threats such as online harassment, bullying, exploitation, scams, and deepfakes/AI.
Join our panel of professionals working in cybersecurity, law enforcement, psychology, and more. Girl Scouts will not only learn the importance of online privacy, but the line of reporting when faced with virtual conflicts. We'll learn about today's dangers plaguing the world of technology, learn how to recognize and support a young person facing online threats, and learn practical tools to help us navigate safely online.
Lunch & all Girl Scout Cybersecurity Badges are included.
This is a drop-off program and GSHNJ staff chaperones will be provided, though Adults are encouraged to attend along with their Girl Scouts. Adults attending must register.
