Calling Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! Grab
your friends and enjoy a relaxing tubing adventure down the beautiful
Delaware River. Float along the current, soak in the scenic views, and
enjoy a fun afternoon going with the flow. Bring your lunch, snacks,
and plenty of positive vibes as you relax and enjoy the summer vibes.
River Tubing Fun Patch Provided.
Along the way, Girl Scouts will
build teamwork by supporting one another on the river, practice
important water safety skills, and discover how leadership can mean
staying calm, confident, and adaptable. Girls will also connect with
nature by spotting local wildlife and exploring the unique Delaware
River ecosystem. River Trip can take up to 4 hours. Life Jackets
provided and required. Single and Tandem Tubes are available. If you
wish to bring a cooler on your ride, you must rent a tube for your
cooler.
This program is part of the GSHNJ Community Engagement
& Design Taskforce Summer Series - a girl-led initiative powered
by 15 inspiring Girl Scouts from Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren
Counties! Together, these changemakers are dreaming big, building
connections, and helping shape an even stronger future for Girl Scouts
across the western region of the GSHNJ community.
Girl Scouts
and adults must register for this program or event. All Girl Scout
participants must be chaperoned at this program or event by their Troop
Leaders or by a guardian.
What to Expect:

Enjoy opportunities to relax, reflect, and connect with nature along
the river
* Trip duration varies based on river conditions,
ranging from approximately 90 minutes to 4 hours.
* Safety vests
are required for all participants
* Participants must be at
least 8 years old
* Guests are welcome to bring a packed lunch
to enjoy during the river float (conditions permitting) or afterward
along the riverside; please note that a cooler carrier tube must be
purchased to bring food onto the river.
* Waiver Required
