This summer, the GSHNJ National Delegation will travel to the National Council Session in Washington DC to represent our council. There, we will vote on three proposals. These are topics that will affect your troops, so we want your input!
- Proposal 1: Solicitation of funds for high awards
- Allows all Girl Scouts pursuing higher awards to request donations.
- Proposal 2: Membership dues and
procedures for registration
- Requires National Council approval for dues increases over 15% in three years.
- Proposal 3: Girl Scouts should not license the Girl Scout
name or likeness during cookie sales
- Prohibits selling cookie-inspired foods during cookie season.
Attend one of three 45-minute Town Halls to contribute to the discussion.
