Join us for the 4th annual Climate Action Day at the Girl Scout
Leadership Center in Newark! For the past three years the success of
our program has been bolstered by leadership contributions from our
Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! Work side by side as you practice
leadership skills and hone your environmental communication
skills!
Leadership Opportunity Requirements:
1) Sign up to present one of our Climate related topics and activities
OR create your own!
2) Create a presentation board and fun
activity that helps younger Girl Scouts understand your topic.
3) Participate in 2 virtual planning sessions (Dates TBD)
4)
Participate in Climate Action Day on Saturday May 9th, 10AM-2PM. Time
includes setup/cleanup and lunch.
* Remember that this
is a commitment. It is very difficult to get your topic covered if you
decide to cancel once you have gone through Topic Selection. Please
review your calendar before committing to this Leadership
Opportunity.
This is a drop-off program and GSHNJ staff
chaperones will be provided. No adults need to register for this
program. Only adults that would like to volunteer should
register.
