Explore Goat Hill Overlook with a hike led by GSHNJ Trailblazer Girl Scouts from Troop 33984 who are leading this hike to develop their leadership skills and support our Trailblazer programming! This hike is a one-Trefoil level hike (see Trefoil rating) for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts.
Take a beginner-friendly hike and stop to enjoy a picnic and complete a fun nature scavenger hunt. What will you find?! What new hiking skills will you learn?! This hike is a great opportunity for Daisies and Brownies to attend a scenic hike and interact with older Girl Scouts who have lots of knowledge to share!
Program Details:
- Family Ramblers Hiking Club members can register for any of our Summer Hike series with a 50% discount (code available in the Family Ramblers forum).
- All participants should wear closed-toe shoes, bring a refillable water bottle/optional snack, and dress for the weather.
- This hike will take place in light/intermittent rain, but severe weather will cancel.
- The exact meeting location with any additional information will be emailed by leaders to registered participants prior to the hike.
- All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this program by their Troop Leaders or by a guardian. (see ratio requirements here).
