Calling all adventurers, photographers, and nature explorers! Join us
for an unforgettable evening at the Hunterdon County Arboretum as we
chase golden hour light, uncover hidden geocaches, and capture the
beauty of the outdoors through photography.
During this hands-on
adventure, Girl Scouts will explore scenic trails, gardens, wooded
paths, and hidden corners of the arboretum while learning the exciting
world of geocaching - a real-life treasure hunt using clues, teamwork,
navigation, and observation skills. Along the way, girls will pause to
photograph glowing sunsets, colorful plants, interesting textures,
wildlife, and candid moments in nature using phones or cameras.
As the sun begins to set and the trails glow with warm golden light,
scouts will experience the magic of combining adventure, creativity,
STEM, and the outdoors in one exciting evening quest.

Included. Participants must bring their own phones to participate in
geocaching and download app.
This program is part of the GSHNJ
Community Engagement & Design Taskforce Summer Series - a girl-led
initiative powered by 15 inspiring Girl Scouts from Somerset,
Hunterdon, and Warren Counties! Together, these changemakers are
dreaming big, building connections, and helping shape a stronger
future for Girl Scouts across the western region of the GSHNJ
community.
Girl Scouts and adults must register for this program
or event. All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this
program or event by their Troop
Leaders or by a guardian.
