This two-part blended training begins with a self-paced virtual module, followed by an in-person session. Participants must complete both parts in order to be certified.
- Part 1: The virtual, first aid module must be completed before the in-person session. Directions for accessing the online portion will be emailed to you once we have received your registration.
- Part 2: The second, in-person session on October 14 is hands-on and teaches CPR skills as well as reviewing first aid skills.
Allow 2.5 hours to view the first aid module, and four hours to attend the CPR session.
Completion of this full course results in a two-year certification in both first aid and CPR from the American Heart Association.
The GSHNJ course registration is $25.00; the online portion must be paid separately through the American Heart Association at a cost of $19.50. Registration ends on Sunday, October 11 at 11:59pm.
