The Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center is expanding their popular
annual Trail Tales event for a second night just for girl scouts! Hear
silly, slightly spooky, and nature-themed tales told by costumed
storytellers along the nighttime trails of the Great Swamp! Between
stories, marvel at the lighted scenes made from glowing
jack-o-lanterns as a guide leads you through the forest. Fun patch
included!
Program Details:
- This program partially supports the Daisy Trail Adventure, Brownie Trail Adventure, Hiker, and Outdoor Adventurer and Junior Animal Habitats and Trail Adventure Badges. Badges are NOT included!
- Girl Scouts come prepared, so dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes or boots for the trails since this program will take place in all but severe, unsafe weather. Sessions begin every 15 minutes, so if this session is full, check our event calendar for additional sessions!
Girl Scouts and adults must register for this program or event. All
Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this program or event by
their Troop
Leaders or by a guardian.
