Hunt!🌟
Calling all active Girl Scouts and troop leaders!
Lace up your sneakers and get ready to explore the rich history of our
city at Second Saturday: The History of Newark Scavenger Hunt,
happening Saturday, September 13th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, starting
at the Girl Scout Leadership Center (GSLC)!
Join us for a
walking adventure through Downtown Newark, where you'll uncover
fascinating stories and visit some of the city's most iconic
historical landmarks. This exciting event is part of our badge-earning
series to revamp the Council's Own Newark Badge Program-so come ready
to learn, explore, and have fun with your troop!
💚 What
to Expect:
Troops will travel together for the scavenger
hunt.
Each participant will receive a healthy and
nutritious snack bag to fuel your journey.
Use your wits
and teamwork to solve clues and complete the hunt!
Bonus
Challenge: The first 3 troops to return to the GSLC with all the
correct answers will be rewarded with a nice, cold treat to celebrate
their victory!

Girl Scouts and adults must register for this program. All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this program or event by their Troop Leaders or by a guardian.
