We're so excited to offer this new program in partnership with Raritan Valley Community College. We'll head out into the field where we'll learn visual assessment techniques of water quality and collect sediment samples. Back in the lab, we'll take a closer look at the macroinvertebrates we collect and analyze water samples to score water quality. Your Girl Scout will get a taste for environmental field work as well as get hands on experience in a college laboratory! Environment, Biology, and Water Chemistry all in one! You won't want to miss it! ~C,S,A

The Microenvironment Rocker of the new Environmental Warrior Patch Series is included with program fee and will be distributed at the program.

All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at this program or event by their Troop Leaders [https://www.gshnj.org/en/members/for-volunteers/volunteer-essentials/creating-safe-space.html] or by a guardian, but those adults do not need to register for this program.
