Curious about the new Junior Astronomy Club? If you are interested in
learning more but not ready to commit to a yearly membership, come
check out a meeting and discover what it's all about! Blast off into a
universe of curiosity, creativity, and connection as you explore
space, make new friends, and learn through hands-on fun.
The new Junior Astronomy Club is where young astronomers come together
to unlock the mysteries of the night sky in a fun, hands-on, and
friendly environment. Whether you're brand new to space or already
dreaming of becoming an astronaut, this is the perfect place to make
friends who love science and discovery just like you!
Each month, we dive into exciting topics like constellations, planets,
the Moon, and galaxies through interactive STEM activities, creative
space art, and science games. Club meetings are filled with laughter,
teamwork, and plenty of time to share your ideas and questions.
One of the most exciting parts? As a member, you'll get to
learn real astrophotography using Youth AstroNet, an online program
that gives young people access to robotic telescopes. You'll learn how
to request telescope images of stars, planets, and nebulae-and turn
them into your very own space photos!
