Explore the Institute Woods in Princeton along the trail with GSHNJ Trailblazers, who are leading this hike as part of our Summer Hike series, developing their leadership skills while also supporting our Trailblazer programming.
This 2.2 mile flat hike is a 1-2 Trefoil level hike appropriate for
any age Girl Scout and features more than 45 different tree species,
an optional swinging bridge for the adventurous, and plenty of turtles
and frogs!
A small bootprint patch is included with your
program fee for each summer hike you attend.
Family Ramblers Hiking Club members can register for any of our
Summer hikes with a 50 percent discount (code available in the Family

-All
participants should wear closed-toe shoes, bring a refillable water
bottle/optional snack and dress for the weather.
-This hike will
take place in light/intermittent rain, but severe weather will
cancel.
-The exact meeting location with any additional
information will be emailed by leaders to registered participants
prior to the hike.
-This hike requires a minimum of 7
participants to run.
This program is open to non-members and all participants must
register to attend. All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at
this program or event by their Troop Leaders or by a guardian. Safety
