Explore the Columbia Trail and gnome homes along the
trail with GSHNJ Trailblazer Girl Scouts who are leading this hike as
part of our
Summer
Hike series, developing their leadership skills while
also supporting our Trailblazer programming. This approximately
1-mile, flat out-and-back trail is a 1-2 Trefoil level hike
appropriate for younger Girl Scouts. We placed a gnome home on a
summer hike last year and want to see how the gnomes like it! At the
end of the hike, everyone will have the opportunity to make a gnome
nature necklace to take home with them.
A small bootprint patch
is also included with your program fee for each summer hike you
attend. Family Ramblers Hiking Club members can register for any of
our Summer hikes with a 50 percent discount (code available in the
Family Ramblers forum). Not a Family Rambler but interested in more
info or registering? See here for details [link to come]
