Calling all stargazers, space explorers, and curious minds!
Join the Junior Astronomy Club, where young scientists come
together to explore the wonders of the universe in a fun, hands-on,
and supportive environment. Whether you're just beginning your journey
into space or already dreaming of becoming an astronaut, this is the
perfect place to make friends who love science and discovery as much
as you do.
Each month, we dive into fascinating topics
like constellations, planets, the Moon, and galaxies through
interactive STEM activities, creative space-themed art, and engaging
science games. Club meetings are full of teamwork, laughter, and
opportunities to ask big questions and share ideas.
As a
member, you'll learn real astrophotography using Youth AstroNet, an
exciting online program that gives you access to robotic telescopes.
You'll learn how to capture images of stars, planets, and nebulae-and
create your very own space photos!
What to Expect:
Explore the night sky - Learn about constellations, planets, stars,
and galaxies
Capture your own space photos - Use Youth AstroNet
to image the cosmos with real telescopes
Get creative with space
crafts - Make constellation lanterns, star wheels, and more
Use
real science tools - Try spectrum meters, solar viewers, and hands-on
astronomy gear
Experiment and play - Dive into fun games and
challenges that make learning exciting
Make new friends -
Connect with other space-loving kids in a welcoming and inclusive
environment
Field trips and leadership opportunities
Yearly Membership: $50 includes all meetings
