Join the invigorating world of robotics in this evening session led by Hillsborough High School Robotics Team, The RoboRaiders, and WISE (Women in Science and Engineering). Girl Scouts will design robots based on real world problems and situations; they will then present their robots and designs to others. Girl Scouts will learn presentation skills, public speaking, the scientific process, how to approach designing something in response to a problem or situation, and numerous other skills. Scouts will be able to learn and ask questions about the HHS Robotics Team as well. Various activities, breaks, and food will also be provided! We hope to see you there!
Participants will take home their Robot Design & Showcasing
Robots Badges.
All Girl Scout participants must be chaperoned at
this program or event by their Troop
Leaders or by a guardian, but those adults do not need to
register for this program.
