Join GSHNJ and other community partners for this free public event filled with family-friendly activities and performances centered around classical music. WQXR, New York's only all-classical radio station, typically hosts the event in New York City, but for the first time, it will be held in New Jersey at NJPAC.On this same day will be New Jersey Symphony's How to Train Your Dragon concert at NJPAC which will allow ticket holders to enjoy the Classical Kids Fair before the show, though the fair is open to everyone in the community. Clicking "Register" on this event will redirect you to register for the WQXR/NJPAC free classical kids fair.

Activities include:

  • Storytelling - interactive readings of picture books about musical icons and artistic legends
  • Arts and crafts - musical craft stations including decorating egg shaker maracas led by Girl Scouts Hearts of New Jersey
