Girl Scouts bridging to Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and Adults are invited to join us for a special Bridging Ceremony on the Brooklyn Bridge, followed by a Walking Tour of NYC! We'll meet our guides from Common Sense Tours at Cadman Plaza West in Brooklyn, NY. After check-in, we'll hold a short Bridging Ceremony before a spectacular walk across the iconic bridge! Our guided tour will continue through the streets of lower Manhattan where we will experience the New York of the Dutch and English that existed for 200 years downtown, before there was ever an uptown! We'll visit Trinity Church and St. Paul's Chapel, Federal Hall, 9/11 Memorial reflecting pools, and stop for lunch (not provided) near South Street Seaport. (*Locations may change due to availability.) The tour ends near Battery Park, where you can choose to head home or continue your adventure in NYC!
Program Details: All Girl Scouts must register and attend with a chaperone (Troop Leader or guardian). Wear your vest or sash and comfy shoes. This is a rain-or-shine event.
