Successful completion of this course results in a two-year first aid certification from the American Heart Association. You'll learn how to address safety concerns when administering first aid, and gain skills in handling medical, injury, and environmental injuries including what to do if someone is choking.
IMPORTANT: To become a certified Troop First-Aider, you must take both the first aid and CPR training components, which are held separately.
Participants are expected to follow GSHNJ's current COVID-19 safety precautions.
