Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) teaches girls strong values, instilling a core belief in themselves, and building a community oriented attitude - all of which make the world a better place!

GSHNJ serves over 22,000 girls and 9,000 adult members in the counties of Hudson, Essex, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon, southern Warren and parts of Middlesex including 3 of New Jersey’s largest cities: Newark, Elizabeth, and Jersey City. GSHNJ has the potential to serve 217,000 girls or 30 percent of the state’s population of girls 5 to 17 across the region.

It costs GSHNJ $257 per girl to deliver one year of programming.
