Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey serves over 25,000 girls and 10,000 adult members in the counties of Hudson, Essex, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon, southern Warren and parts of Middlesex.
Three of New Jersey's largest cities Newark, Elizabeth and Jersey City are served by the Heart of New Jersey.
The Council has the potential to serve 217,000 girls or 30 percent of the state's population of girls 5 to 17 across the region.
