About the Everyday Young Hero

YSA is an organization that believes in youth changing the world. Each week YSA announces an Everyday Young Hero, who is a youth leader, ages 5-25, who identify a need in their community, address it though service, mobilize their peers and community partners, and engage the media and elected officials. Everyday Young Hero winners receive a certificate and latter, and are features on YSA’s website and in the weekly National Service Briefing. Youth selected as Everyday Young Heros are also considered for YSA Grants and other YSA awards.

How to Nominate Someone for the Everyday Young Hero

Each Everyday Young Hero must be someone ages 5-25 who has been nominated by someone who is familiar with their work in their community.
