Girl Scouts earning their Bronze Award

Bronze Award Girl Scouts

When Girl Scout Juniors team up to make a difference in their community, they learn important leadership skills, discover new passions, and watch how seemingly small actions make a big difference. It all adds up to the Girl Scout Bronze Award—the highest honor a Junior can achieve.

Recognizing the impact of COVID-19, Girl Scouts is offering a three-month extension from September 30 to December 31, 2020, to provide flexibility for Girl Scouts earning Highest Awards. Our Awards team is here to support you. If you need to discuss changes to project plans or have questions, contact awards@gshnj.org.

Getting Started

bronze

Leaders are required to view GSHNJ’s 25-minute online Bronze Award Tutorial before the girls begin their projects. Leaders should also review the Bronze Award Money Earning Policies for guidance on how projects can be funded.

Troops may request an a la carte Bronze Award Workshop for five or more Girl Scouts.

While formal pre-approval of project ideas is not required, Girl Scouts are welcome to reach out with their ideas to awards@gshnj.org. We’re happy to provide feedback and guidance.
