GSHNJ Leader Melonie Krisza Marano, who is also mayor of Green Brook Township, receives the Distinguished Service Award from the American Hungarian Foundation. She has been a leader for over 10 years and currently is a leader in SU 62 (Dunellen/Green Brook) Troop 65166.

Kristina Woung-Fallon, a sophomore at Mount Saint Mary Academy, developed a "Duffels of Hugs" project to benefit young people at Covenant House, Newark. She organized the collection, sorting, assembling and delivery of 125 duffel, tote, and backpacks.
