Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey welcomes you to Camp Lou Henry Hoover. Located in Middleville, NJ, this 340-acre camp is nestled in the peaceful and scenic hills of Sussex County.

For over 55 years Camp Lou Henry Hoover has been creating great summer memories for girls of all ages. Since 1953, we have been providing girls with the opportunity to learn, discover, explore, challenge, create and make new friends in a friendly camp environment.

Camp sessions run from July 5 through August 15. A variety of programs and sessions, designed to meet the interest of all girls, are available. All of our activities are grouped according to interest, age and ability to make your camper's stay more enjoyable and comfortable.

Girls are grouped in their chosen programs in units with staff who supervise and assist them throughout the week. In addition to their program theme, girls will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of all camp activities which may include crafts, nature, hiking, sports, games, cookouts and waterfront activities
