Ways to Give

At Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, we pride ourselves on building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. The Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) teaches girls strong values and responsibility all while instilling a core belief in themselves.

Since we serve over 30,000 members in our local Council, it’s difficult to do it alone. That’s where you come in. 100% of your contributions stay in our community and help provide quality, affordable programing for our girls.

Here’s how you can help:

Donate online.

Take advantage of a Matching Gift Program or Volunteer Grant.

Participate in the Annual Family Campaign.

Leave a lasting legacy.  Include GSHNJ in your estate plans.

Matching Gift & Volunteer Grant Programs:

What if you could give Girl Scouts a gift of $100 and have it multiply to $200 or $300 without any additional money coming out of your pocket? Sound like a dream come true? It’s not. Let us explain.

Many employers will match charitable contributions of employees, retirees and sometimes spouses. Contact your Human Resources Department or Community Relations office and inquire about their matching gifts program. If they do offer one, request a matching gifts form, fill it out, and mail it to:

Legacy Gifts:

Including GSHNJ in your estate plans helps ensure that future generations of young women will be able to participate in the Girl Scout program you know and love.  For more information on how you can leave a meaningful gift, contact our fund development team.

Volunteer Grants:

When you donate your time to GSHNJ, many companies will recognize your efforts with a gift to us as well. Don't forget to speak with your HR department to see if your company has a similar program.
