DELEGATE CONFERENCE CALL 10/19/09
An open conference call was held for anyone with questions on the new Service Unit Delegate election process. This was announced at the Service Unit Manager's Kick off meeting, on the GSHNJ Website and emails sent to SU delegates on record.
The Governance Task group members Nancy Faulks, Sue Jacques and Laurie Brooks hosted the call, briefly reviewed the process and answered questions. There were few participants that dialed in, but they engaged in questions for the task group. We are sharing these with the other members in an effort to also answer your questions:

FIRST ANNUAL MEETING
We thank you for your enthusiastic and engaged response to our first Annual Meeting. The breakout sessions were just the first step in what we intend to be an ongoing dialogue with our grassroots organization via our delegate network.

SIGN-UP
At the Annual Meeting, many of you gave us your contact information on colored index cards. We have since learned that there may have been some confusion about the purpose - and what you were actually signing up for. Sorry!
The intention was two-fold, to identify delegates willing to continue the discussions started in the break-out sessions (colored cards) and to solicit volunteers or nominations for council governance committees and candidates for the board (white cards).
We will be contacting each of you to clarify how you'd like to help us. If you didn't get a chance to volunteer, or have a nomination, please contact us via our mailbox:
