Program Refund and Credit Policy

  • Once a troop or individual registers for a GSHNJ-run program, a refund will be issued only if:
    • The troop or individual cancels their registration prior to the registration closing date as indicated in the program listing.  No refunds will be issued after this deadline.  Refunds are not issued for “no shows” (registrants who do not attend).
    • GSHNJ cancels the event due to insufficient registration, inclement weather, or any other extenuating circumstance.
  • Full refunds will be issued for events that are cancelled by GSHNJ. 
  • Should a troop or individual be unable to attend an event for which they have registered, a written request for refund (email or mail) must be received by the registration closing date as indicated in the program guide.  In this instance, refunds will be issued minus 10% of the original per girl or per adult fee, to cover administrative costs.  There will be no program credits or transfers issued.  Refunds are not issued for customer cancellations or reduction in group numbers after the registration closing date.
  • Programs/events conducted by other institutions have their own cancellation policies that GSHNJ cannot override. Refunds will be issued according to that institution’s policies.  Programs for which GSHNJ has hired outside facilitators and/or transportation companies (this includes all Broadway show trips) are non-refundable.
