The OVAL: Day Camp
Welcome to The OVAL Summer Day Camp, located in the picturesque South Mountain Reservation in Maplewood, NJ! The OVAL is a great place for girls to explore and discover the out-of-doors while forging friendships and making memories to last a lifetime. Our rustic cabins have screened porches, electricity, cold running water and modern bathrooms.
Our 2013 Camp sessions run July 8 through August 16 from 9am-4pm. The OVAL’s sessions are all about choice – plan every detail of your camp experience through themed weeks or a Girl Scout Journey! Themed weeks include performing/creative arts, sports and games, S.T.E.M. or outdoor exploring. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in non-themed arts and crafts, nature study, game sessions, hikes and other activities.
All session fees are $250 per girl per week (5 days). Fees include program theme, general camp activities, supervision by trained staff and afternoon snack/drink each day we are on-site. Bus transportation is also included and provided from a number of designated stops centrally located in Hudson, Essex and Union counties.
