Camp Lou Henry Hoover Site Reservations

Camp Lou Henry Hoover is a 340-acre camp in Middleville, Sussex County, New Jersey. The land offers a wide variety of natural terrain, and habitats to explore including frontage on Swartswood Lake. ... Come anytime. There’s a lot to do! 

The camp offers many fun-filled activities and equipment for all seasons including hiking trails, sports fields and a low ropes course, archery, campfire settings and wintertime activities. Townley Hall, our Program Center, offers a beautiful indoor recreation room and outdoor deck that are ideal for dances, indoor sports and lots of fun games. Our lakefront offers swimming, fishing, sunbathing, canoeing, row boating and funyaking (no motor boats are permitted).  Accommodations range from modern indoor living to platform tents to tent pitching.

Most program areas are for all campers to share. Others need prior Council approval. These need approval due to the physical limitations of the facilities and sites and/or safety precautions. All rules and regulations are available to any group using the facilities. All rules and regulations are subject to courtesy and consideration to others sharing the facilities and sites with you.
