Take a 2.5-mile scenic hike through Palisades Interstate Park.  Guides will lead you and your adult leaders over a bridge and through the woods to the castle hidden in the forest.  Explore the area and check out the monument, built to commemorate the efforts of the women to save the Palisades.  Hike is rated “Easy Plus”.  Trail is mostly flat with some slopes and rocky sections and with sweeping cliff-top views.  Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy boots or shoes that are suitable for walking in the woods.  Bring a bottle of water and snacks.
