Every day children are faced with various dangers and confrontations.  Situations that can include facing bullies, getting lost, home safety, playground safety, internet safety and encounters with strangers.  Self-defense training can be taught without scaring.  This Brownie program will stress the importance of awareness and setting appropriate boundaries in a fun, interactive, age-appropriate way.  They will be able to practice their techniques against a "mock" bully and "mock" stranger, begin preparation for using the world of the Internet and recognize that their "instinct" and their voices are the best tools they have.  Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers; no shorts or slip-on shoes.  Bring drink/snack.
