JOB SUMMARY:

Our Field Executives are responsible for maintaining the territory assigned to them, sharing important business updates, and providing customer service. In partnership with other team members they will assess specific and unique community needs within their areas.

This position(s) will be based in our West Service Center (North Branch, NJ); however frequent travel within the Council jurisdiction will be required.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Girl member and adult volunteer recruitment based on established targets and goals,
  • direct programming (indoors and outside) as needed
  • Sourcing collaborative partnerships within the community
  • Heavy customer relationship management required
  • Membership retention
  • Mentoring new team members
  • Translation of Council materials
  • Set up of collaborations within Hispanic communities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to grow both girl and adult membership through initial analysis and subsequent actions taken using GS membership research, marketing data, and identified community needs/resources
  • Inspire confidence within the Membership team within their assigned Service Center for both new and tenured Field Executives within their assigned Service Center
  • Excellent leadership  skills with a lead by example approach
  • Good verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship skills needed to build collaborations in the community
  • Ability to establish and maintain partnerships with adult volunteers and businesses needed
  • Flexibility to shift work hours frequently, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is needed as car travel will be required within the Council jurisdiction
  • Prior experience as a Field Executive with Girl Scouts or comparable experience required
  • BA a plus Multi-lingual skills helpful
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift and manipulate up to 30 pounds of Girl Scout materials
