Work Weekend is an opportunity for individuals, families, friends and troops to spend the weekend at Camp Lou Henry Hoover and to give something back to the beautiful 340-acre camp. Each person attending Work Weekend will help to revitalize camp after the long, hard winter and help prepare it for the spring and summer camping season. Volunteers skilled in carpentry, plumbing, maintenance and electrical work are needed to complete a variety of projects. Other projects include cleaning cabins, organizing program supplies, taking inventory, washing windows, cleaning and stocking the program boxes, clearing and tagging trails, painting and much more.
